Overview

What is Scan Delivery Light?

"Scan Delivery Light" allows you to directly store scanned documents in the specified saving destination by assigning a file name according to the preset rules just by selecting the document type.
It is a paid application that can be installed and used on multifunction devices, eliminating the need to retrieve, rename, and store data on your PC, improving the efficiency of your routine scanning. (Installation by a customer engineer is required.)

Easy Initial Settings

The administrator can easily configure the initial settings in three steps by using the Scan Delivery Light Setup Wizard.

  1. Select a recommended service type.
  2. Set a destination.
  3. Select the file format to save.

The recommended service types are available to select in the setup wizard. Select one that is similar to the type of document you will be handling from three types of the recommended service such as "Departments", "Sales Departments" and "General Affairs Departments".

You can register, edit, and delete the information of the document types based on the template, so you can customize the content according to the specific business operations.

In Scan Delivery Light, only one service type can be set, also the number of document types that can be set a maximum of ten.

Organizing Scanned Documents Effortlessly

Users simply place the document on the multifunction device and press the button corresponding to the type of document, and the process from digitizing paper documents to saving can be automatically performed. By registering the file name, output format, destination, etc. In advance, it is possible to improve the efficiency of scanning work and standardize the quality.

Splitting, saving and automatically sorting documents

You can choose to save your document in the following formats:

  • PDF
  • DocuWorks Document
  • TIFF (Multi-Pages per File)

You can scan multiple documents at once and save them separated by blank pages, or by specific pages. You can also automatically sort scanned documents by task type, document type, date, and user name. The destination folder name and file name can be set by combining these document attributes with any character string.

Sharing a Document Using Working Folder on the go

You can specify the destination to save the document in one of the following locations:

  • FTP server
  • Shared folder on Windows or Mac (SMB Transfer)
  • Working Folder*2

Upgrading to Scan Delivery

If you want to expand the features of Scan Delivery Light for making routine scan tasks done more efficiently, it is recommended to upgrade to Scan Delivery*3.
You can upgrade Scan Delivery Light by using the Scan Delivery upgrade kit.

The operation and management of Scan Delivery is performed from the plug-in setting screen displayed by the Internet service. On the plug-in setting screen, you can register, edit, and delete document type information. You can also export the setting information and import it to other MFPs.
