Scan Delivery is a paid application designed for multifunction devices, enabling seamless document scanning, naming, and storage. By selecting a job type and document type, users can:

  • Scan and store documents directly in pre-set locations.
  • Automate file naming according to defined rules.
  • Eliminate the need for manual retrieval, renaming, and filing.
  • Improve efficiency for routine scanning tasks.

One-touch scanning for routine workflows

  • Pre-register document settings, including scanning method, image processing, output format, and destination.
  • Users simply place a document on the MFP, press a button, and Scan Delivery automates the entire process.
  • Choose between a fully automated workflow or a manual verification step, depending on document needs.


Customisable document sorting & storage

  • Save documents in multiple formats: PDF, DocuWorks Document, or TIFF (multi-page).
  • Automatically sort documents based on blank pages, QR codes, or barcodes.
  • Organise files by task type, document type, date, or username.
  • Create folder and file names using document attributes and custom text.


Flexible storage destinations for easy access

Save documents directly to:

  • FTP servers
  • Windows or Mac shared folders (SMB transfer)
  • Working Folder (a FUJIFILM Business Innovation cloud service) [Separate contract required]

 



Advanced capabilities

Metadata & attribute management

  • Add the following default Regular Attributes to scanned files for easier organisation and searchability.
    • Service type.
    • Document type.
    • Username.
  • Define up to six extended attributes for further customisation.
  • When saving as DocuWorks or PDF, these attributes are stored as searchable properties, improving document management.

QR code & barcode integration

  • Use QR codes or barcodes to automate file naming, folder organisation, and document categorisation.
  • Special QR codes for Scan Delivery allow predefined settings for folder names, file names, and attributes.
  • General QR codes and barcodes can be scanned to extract embedded text for use in file naming or metadata. [Supports Japanese and English text]


Auto text extraction for standard forms

  • Extract key details from invoices and quotes to automate file naming and categorisation.
  • Supports automatic detection of supplier/client name, creation date, invoice number, and due date.
  • Mark custom extraction areas with a green highlighter for capturing text from non-standard forms.


Automated email notifications

  • Notify specified users about completed scans.
  • Requires an SMTP email server setup on the multifunction device.

Easy initial setup

  • Complete configuration in three simple steps using the Scan Delivery Setup Wizard:
    • 1. Choose a recommended service type (e.g., Department, Sales, General Affairs).
    • 2. Set a destination folder.
    • 3. Select a file format.
  • Customise document types based on business needs, with up to eight service types and 10 document types per service.

Centralised administration

  • Manage Scan Delivery settings via an intuitive web-based interface.
  • Register, edit, and delete document types as needed.
  • Export and import settings across multiple devices for consistency.

QR code generation for easy processing

Use the QR Creation Tool (free download) to generate QR codes for simplified scan processing.
