1. Improved insertion through shell design

The shell design, with its curved sides, allows for easier insertion into patient beds. The easy-to-grasp shape allows for easy pick up even when placed flat, improving task efficiency.

2. Five-colored side-center LEDs to improve distinguishability

Equipped with LEDs at the center of each of the four sides of the detector that makes it easy to check the center position during imaging. Select from five colors (blue, pink, orange, lime-yellow, and purple) that make it easier to distinguish devices when using multiple detectors. In sleep mode, the side-center LEDs switch to a gentle flashing pattern that allows you to see the state of the detector at a glance.

3. Easy-to-see LED status display

The back of the detector is equipped with an LED lamp that displays remaining battery status. This allows easy checks of remaining battery, and eliminates worries when using the detector.

4. Maximum 36 hours of standby time with the new sleep function

The sleep mode provides a maximum 7.5 hours of standby time, whereas the newly added extra sleep mode provides up to 36 hours of standby time.In sleep mode, the center LED on the side of the detector flashes slowly to indicate the detector status at a glance.

5. Works together with the console to display the detector status display the detector status connection

The docking stand works together with the console to display the detector's “Ready” status and identify color using the LEDs. This makes it easy to check the current state of the detector even from far away.

6. "SmartSwitch" Technology

The “SmartSwitch” technology allows automatic X-ray detection.
With “SmartSwitch,” the FDR ES no longer requires connection between the X-ray generator and DR to automatically detect the X-ray exposure and begin image acquisition.

Smart Protection - Combines waterproofing, and durability for additional peace of mind even in the tough medical environments.

IPX6 waterproofing

Structured to prevent the infiltration of liquids, the device conforms to IPX6 and can withstand jets from any direction*1. There is no need to worry that fluids such as blood or vomit could enter the device.

A frame structure that increases durability — 310kg load capacity

The innovative SRM*2 frame realizes a lightweight design combined with a 310kg load capacity on all surfaces by reinforcing the frame internally with ribs. This also improves the flex resistance of the display detector.

Smart Mobility: Superior mobility with lightweight body allows use in a variety of medical settings.

lightweight body

Designed to be lightweight, weighing only 2.5 kg*2 (G35 size with battery) through the magnesium-alloy shell-type frame (SRM*3 frame). Can easily be placed behind a patient

Suitable for various location use with an expanded spectrum

Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz (W52 / 53 / 56 / 58)*4 spectrum.

Allows detector-only image storage

The detector itself can store up to 100 images in internal memory. This eliminates the work of carrying around multiple CR cassettes found in conventional systems. Furthermore, it allows you to perform rapid imaging, such as at night or during an emergency.

Fujifilm's exclusive technology for achieving High Quality Images

ISS System reading technology

Equipped with an indirect conversion system, called the ISS method, which links optical sensors (TFT) alongside X-ray irradiation, unlike traditional flat detector screens. This greatly suppresses the scattering and attenuation of X-ray signals, creating sharp images with low X-ray dose. By applying flexible film to the device's detector, the FDR D-EVO II achieved DQE of 72% (CsI), 45% (GOS) (1mR, 0 cyc), and MTF of 80% (CsI), 75% (GOS). Thus, becoming a more sensitive detector, requiring less radiation and ensuring superior image quality.

The uniquely developed noise reduction circuit reduces noise in the image. In particular, granularity of low-concentration regions such as the heart and mediastinum is dramatically improved.

Advanced Image Processing

FUJIFILM has over 30 year’s experience the invention of the world’s first CR system in defining the latest technology to provide optimized X-ray imaging.
Simpler, more efficient with improved workflow for the radiographer our advanced image processing provides higher diagnostic value with reduced impact for the patients.

Compatible with Console Advance, employing advanced image processing technology to provide optimized X-ray image

Simpler and more efficient, the workflow increases productivity for the radiology technician. Our advanced image processing provides greater diagnostic clarity with less impact on patients.

Virtual Grid

Image quality equivalent to physical grid, without using a grid.

  • * Optional
[photo] X-ray images of chest and lungs comparison of no grid versus virtual grid
[logo] Virtual Grid

Virtual Grid is an image processing software that corrects the effects of scattering radiation, which, without the use of a grid, reduces the contrast and sharpness of the image. Without the need for a physical anti-scattering grid, this software automatically predicts and corrects the effects of scattering radiation. With this, it is possible to guarantee superior image quality with lower doses of radiation.

Dynamic Visualization II

  • * Optional

Dyn II is an advanced post-processing algorithm that automatically adjusts contrast and density for individual parts of the image. The software acts in the automatic control of the dynamic range pixel by pixel, equalizing the image and bringing more details to regions of low penetration.
