ISS capture technology promotes high sensitivity
Fujifilm’s Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) technology positions its capture electronics (TFTs) at the irradiation side, in contrast to traditional TFT detector detectors. This design significantly suppresses scattering and attenuation of X-ray signals, improving efficiency to produce sharper images at lower doses compared to traditional designs and achieve DQE of 31% (1 Lp/mm, 1 mR).

FDR D-EVO III G80i requires higher durability
against localized deformation and bending, as it is approximately twice the size of a conventional 17"×17" detector. The rib spacer is optimized based on load simulations to achieve both lightweight and durability*2.
The FDR D-EVO III detectors are coated with Hydro Ag antibacterial coating, which has an antibacterial effect 100 times greater than that of conventional Ag coatings. This longer-lasting higher intensity antibacterial effect prevents bacterial growth. A hyper-hydrophilic binder allows easy cleaning and hygienic use, together with the easy-to wipe flat design of the detector.
Versatile Functionality
LED indicators provide easy visualization for positioning guidance and device status information at a glance, even from a distance
- Equipped with side-center LEDs on four sides of the detector, for easier positioning of the device during imaging. There are five LED colors (blue, pink, orange, lime-yellow and purple), to distinguish different devices for different colors when using multiple devices.
- Exposure ready light turns green when ready to capture an image.
- White LEDs identify the top-side and bottom-side of the detector.
Up to 100 images can be stored in the panel’s internal memory. The LED display shows the number of stored images along with the battery status. You can check that information even when the panel is being used on its own.
LED battery level indicator provides easy visibility of battery status at a glance.
Improved Handling
Expanded wireless for high-speed spectrum’s
FDR D-EVO III G80i supports IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11ac, the high-speed wireless LAN. And is compatible with 2.4GHz and 5GHz (W52/53/56/58) making it suitable for outdoor use.
Improved throughput
Image display and cycle times are ~2.5 seconds faster than prior models with wireless LAN to further speed procedure times.
Simplified portability
A dedicated wireless access point for detector to console communication is no longer needed. Remote imaging can be performed with just panel and console (or mobile console).
“SmartSwitch” Technology
Fujifilm's "SmartSwitch” technology enables automatic X-ray detection, eliminating the need for a wired connection to the X-ray generator. This allows image capture with any x-ray source on demand and simplifying use with other rooms or mobiles.
FDR D-EVO III G80i enables users to select and switch between systems simply by pressing the button on the back of the panel.

Virtual Grid
Virtual Grid processing corrects for the effects of scatter radiation. Without the need for a grid, Virtual Grid retains high contrast and image sharpness, while preventing the asymmetric density resulting from misalignment of X-ray tube and detector. (Option)

Advanced thickness and feature recognition algorithms automatically adjust contrast and density for individual characteristics of body parts and orthopedic hardware. (Option)
EX-Mobile*4 is a compact, lightweight optional accessory that provides the operating environment to install the software such as AI-CAD software*5 at the technologist console to display the analysis result in images received from AI-CAD. The console display is not for diagnosis purpose, it enables users to see the analysis result and send it to PACS.
