“INSTAX Pal^™” named one of TIME’s THE BEST INVENTIONS of 2023

TOKYO, October 27, 2023 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the latest model in the INSTAX^*1 series, the palm-sized camera INSTAX Pal™ has been selected as one of TIME’s BEST INVENTIONS of 2023 in the Special Mention section. This selection marks the first time for the INSTAX series.

“THE BEST INVENTIONS” focuses on growing fields such as AI, green energy, and sustainability, and solicits nominations from TIME’s editors and correspondents around the world. Products and ideas are evaluated on a number of key factors, including originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact. The INSTAX Pal™ is INSTAX series’ first model specializing in "shooting”. By separating the printing function from the camera, it achieves this compact size to fit in the palm of your hand. It is easy to carry around and makes shooting experience more accessible. By connecting the INSTAX Pal™ to a smartphone via Bluetooth^*2, captured images are automatically transferred to a dedicated Smartphone App^*3 and saved as an image with an INSTAX frame. In addition, by connecting via Bluetooth to the INSTAX Link™ series of smartphone printers and the INSTAX mini Evo™ and INSTAX mini LiPlay™ hybrid instant cameras, users can enjoy photo printing on INSTAX instant film.
