Fujifilm launches new global promotion “FINAL FANTASY XIV Online × instax™ Collaboration”

Sydney, 6 March, 2025 - FUJIFILM Corporation plans to launch a new global promotion in collaboration with the globally popular online game FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online and instax™ on 25 February, 2025.

In Part 1 of the Collaboration, a collaborative emote^※1 with instax™ is available in FINAL FANTASY XIV Online from 25 February, 2025. Additionally, in Part 2 of the Collaboration—an X social campaign started on 27 February, 2025—users can post screenshots from FINAL FANTASY XIV Online on a special website to create instax™ print images and share them on X. Participants will have the chance to win in-game items (limited to one prize per person) that can be used in FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.

Through the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online × instax™ Collaboration, Fujifilm will provide an experience that brings the joy of instax™ into the game world. Your favourite experiences and characters in the game can be celebrated in a tactile and tangible way by taking an in-game screenshot and printing it on the “instax Link™” series of smartphone printers and other devices.

※1 Emotes are actions that characters use to express their emotions and intentions in the game. The instax™ collaboration “Photograph” emote consists of a series of actions performed by the character with a camera, but it is not possible to actually take pictures in the game using this emote.

■FINAL FANTASY XIV Online × instax™ Collaboration

Collaboration Part 1: FINAL FANTASY XIV Online now has a collaborative emote with instax™.

The emote “Photograph” is scheduled to appear in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online game as an instax™ collaboration emote on 25 February, 2025. It includes the sound of an instax™ print being output from an instax™ series instant camera. The detailed instax™ collaboration emote will bring instax™ closer to the game world.

Collaboration Part 2: X Social Campaign to win in-game items.

By taking a screenshot of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, turning into an instax™ print on the special website, and posting it on X, a total of 10,000 people will win in-game items (limited to one prize per person) that can be used in FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.
