Server-less On-Demand Print is an application that can be installed on a multifunction device or printer, enabling you to print stored documents from a linked multifunction device or printer.
In Server-less On-Demand Print, print jobs requested from a computer are stored on a machine. A user pulls the job from any printers on the network. No print server is required.
Even though the machine storing your job is occupied, you can print with another available machine. As this feature enables you to check a print job before printing, you can reduce unnecessary printing.
There are two sorts of the applications of Server-less On-Demand Print depending on your authentication environment.
- Private Charge Print (Network): Can be used in Local Account mode, Remote Accounts mode, or No Login Required mode (with IC Cards)
- Select ID and Print: Can be used in No Login Required mode (without IC Cards)
Depending on your environment, select either one of the applications.
