"We want more people to live long, healthy lives."
Cherishing this dream, we have addressed people's bones for many years, accumulating skills and know-how.
Now, we have released a new bone densitometry system brand, ALPHYS, taking a new step to the next stage.
ALPHYS A is a high-end DEXA bone densitometry system for the forearm, developed in pursuit of high performance, streamlined operation and compact design.
- High Performance
Bone densitometry can be measured in just 7.5 seconds thanks to the ALPHYS A's fan beam X-ray technology. - Streamlined Operation
Since there is no bone deformation in the radial bone, bone diagnosis of the elderly is possible as ROI angle can automatically even if the forearm is positioned at an inappropriate angle. - Compact Design
Its compact design enables examinations to be done even in small X-ray rooms.
The ALPHYS A features technologies that actualize the taking of quick, accurate, and high-quality measurements.
- Fan Beam X-ray Technology
Our wide-angle fan beam technology minimizes beam distortion, providing bone densitometry data. - Multichannel Detector
The ALPHYS A's increased rate of data collection enables rapid scanning, taking just 7.5 seconds per scan in High Speed Mode.
Shorter scan times reduce stress placed on the examinee, while helping prevent measurement errors due to the examinee accidentally moving during the scan. - Stabilization Technology
The BM Stabilizer (The Bone Mineral Density Stabilization Mechanism) is a sophisticated quality control system that automatically and precisely manages the accuracy of each measurement. This same system reduces the number of steps required for calibration and enables efficient system maintenance.
The ALPHYS A improves the reproducibility of the ROI position, by automatically and highly accurately detecting the position of the ulnar styloid, which is used as the reference point for analysis. Measurements enhance diagnostic confidence.
(CV: 1% or less)
ROI angle can be positioning automatically even if the forearm is positioned at an inappropriate angle. AAA enables detection of minute changes in bone density, by suppressing measurement variation due to unstable positioning of 1/10 distal radius, which may occur during follow-up examinations.
A selection of report formats are prepared to respond to various clinical situations. The comments in the report can be added or customized, making it easy to explain the evaluation to the examinee.
- Pal-report
Minimal information is shown so that even older examinees can understand easily. - Original report
The information given on the analysis screen in the area scan mode is shown. - Overall examination result report
Diverse information obtained from the measurement results is shown.
ROI (1/3, 1/10 distal radius region) is automatically detected. Analytical results are automatically calculated based on the detected data.
- Trendgram preparation function
- Quick search of past data
- External communication function *1
In addition to the user-friendly design, a lifting function is newly integrated to realize a comfortable examination environment for a wide range of examinees.
The ALPHYS A's smart and compact design provides ample scanning space, enabling patients to be more comfortably examined.
A lifting cart type*2, stationary type, and fixed-height cart type*3 are available.
The power required by ALPHYS A is AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz, not exceeding 350VA.
The grip of ALPHYS A is set at a natural angle, minimizing the physical burden on examinees so smoother measurements can be achieved. Simply pull down one of the grips equipped on both sides and either the left or right arm can be measured. The system automatically detects whether the examinee has placed their left or right arm, thus achieving smoother measurements.
ALPHYS A's design gently holds the forearm using gravity and three supporting points (grip, elbow stopper, and arm stopper). Its inclined opening enables measurements to be taken in a stress-free, natural posture.
- Elbow stopper
- Arm stopper
- Grip
The height can be adjusted from 91 cm (lowest) to 94 cm, 99 cm and 104 cm. Different heights can be selected to suit the examinee. Even examinees in wheelchairs can have their measurements taken easily in a natural posture.
