REACH is the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. It entered into force on June 1st 2007. It streamlines and improves the former legislative framework on chemicals of the European Union.
Fujifilm Electronic Materials (FFEM) is well aware of REACH and the projected timetable for registration. We are committed to meet our legal obligations under REACH as an importer and a downstream user. We continuously assess the impact of REACH on our product portfolio and have the intention to fully comply with the relevant REACH requirements. Special attention is given to the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).
We trust that the FFEM REACH commitment is clear, and therefore we do not foresee to fill up any detailed questionnaires. FFEM is not intending to provide any details related to volumes, importers, proprietary ingredients, copies of (pre)-registration acknowledgement and the like.
Should you have any other questions, the REACH contact address at FFEM is febe.reachcoordinators@fujifilm.com.
Certainly FUJIFILM has its own Research & Development. Though when customers work with FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, they've got the resources of more than just one company behind them. Thanks to our global partnering with industry leaders, FUJIFILM team members are joined by experts at organizations throughout the world to offer high-quality products and to help address future technology questions in semiconductor manufacturing.
These alliances allow us to expand product offerings, to access advanced technology, to use state-of-the-art equipment, and to provide third-party evaluations.
