Bangkok, September 12, 2023 – FUJIFILM (Thailand) Ltd. is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated launch of the FUJIFILM GFX100 II, marking a groundbreaking addition to the GFX Series. Simultaneously, the company revealed its latest lineup of interchangeable lenses for the GFX Series: FUJINON Lens GF30mmF5.6 T/S,” “FUJINON Lens GF110mmF5.6 T/S Macro” and “FUJINON Lens GF55mmF1.7 R WR.” The new lineup of GF lenses reaffirms Fujifilm’s commitment to delivering exceptional image quality with large format sensors. The FUJIFILM GFX100 II and FUJINON Lens GF55mmF1.7 R WR will be available for pre-booking in Thailand on 28 September 2023 through Fujifilm’s authorized dealers, while FUJINON Lens GF30mmF5.6 T/S and FUJINON Lens GF110mmF5.6 T/S Macro will become available in November 2023.
The GFX100 II boasts a remarkable large format image sensor, approximately 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor, delivering rich tonal reproducibility and outstanding three-dimensional definition. At the heart of the GFX100 II lies the newly-developed high-speed 102MP sensor, the "GFX 102MP CMOS II HS," paired with the cutting-edge image processing engine, the "X-Processor 5." This dynamic duo delivers unparalleled performance in continuous shooting and video recording.
Furthermore, the high-speed image sensor and processing engine introduce AI-based subject-detection AF, developed using Deep Learning technology, along with the latest prediction AF algorithm. This enhancement propels burst shooting from the previous 5.0 frames per second to an impressive 8.0 frames per second, catering to diverse genres, including fashion, commercial, landscape, sports, and news photography, where speed is of the essence.
Revolutionizing video recording capabilities, it can internally record 4K/60P 4:2:2 10-bit video and supports 8K/30P video for the first time in the GFX Series. The camera's new "Video Format" modes adapt to the format of the lens mounted i.e., Premista, 35mm and Anamorphic (35mm), ensuring optimal video recording settings. To further enhance image quality, the GFX100 II also introduces the "REALA ACE" Film Simulation mode, offering faithful color reproduction and high-contrast tonality, making it suitable for any subject and situation. The camera's design features a large LCD, a tilted top panel, and a new texture, ensuring it meets the demands of professional photographers and videographers.

Coinciding the launch of FUJIFILM GFX100 II, Fujifilm also announced the release of the large-aperture standard prime lens “FUJINON Lens GF55mm F1.7 R WR” and two tilt-shift lenses “FUJINON Lens GF30mm F5.6 T/S” and “FUJINON Lens GF110mm F5.6 T/S Macro.” Expanding its lens lineup, the company aims to boost the appeal of the GFX system, broadening the possibilities for image creation.
The GF55mmF1.7 R WR is a versatile large-aperture prime lens with a 55mm focal length (44mm in 35mm film format). Its large format enhances the richness and creamy bokeh, making subjects pop against a blurred background. This lens mimics human vision for natural perspectives, ideal for detailed snapshots and portraits. The GF55mmF1.7 R WR consists of 14 lens elements in 10 groups including two ED elements and two aspherical elements to deliver superb image resolution. It effectively controls aberrations, maintaining bokeh quality. The lens weighs 780g and measures 99.3mm in length. The lens offers exceptional versatility for various genres, from everyday snapshots to professional portraits, indoors and outdoors.
The GF30mmF5.6 T/S is a wide-angle tilt shift lens with a focal length of 30mm (equivalent to 24mm in the 35mm film format). This lens features a sophisticated optical design with 16 elements in 11 groups, including three aspherical, two ED, and one Super ED element. It suppresses distortion and ghosting, typically seen with wide-angle lenses, to achieve a high level of image resolution. This lens meets professional needs in landscape photography where everything within the frame is in focus from grass in the foreground to distant mountains. The lens keeps a compact profile, measuring just 138.5mm in length and weighing 1.340g.
The GF110mmF5.6 T/S Macro is a mid-telephoto tilt shift macro lens with a focal length of 110mm (equivalent to 87mm in the 35mm film format) and a maximum reproduction rate of 0.5x. With 11 elements in nine groups, including one aspherical and two ED elements, this lens delivers outstanding sharpness. It suppresses various types of aberration including distortion, lateral chromatic aberration, and axial chromatic aberration to achieve an advanced level of image resolution. At 149mm in length and 1,255g weight (with a 72mm filter thread), this lens stays compact. Its thoughtful design minimizes user fatigue during long shoots.
