TOKYO, September 13, 2024 – FUJIFILM Corporation is pleased to announce that its mirrorless digital camera “FUJIFILM GFX100 II”*1 has won the Bronze Award in the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2024, organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). Additionally, the mirrorless digital camera “FUJIFILM X-S20”, interchangeable lens for the GFX Series of mirrorless digital cameras “FUJINON Lens GF110mmF5.6 T/S Macro” and “FUJINON Lens GF30mmF5.6 T/S” were selected as finalists*2.
The IDEA is an international design award program established in 1980 by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). It is considered as one of the world’s three major design awards alongside Germany’s “iF Design Award” and “Red Dot Design Award.” The jury reviews entries based on strict criteria including design innovation, user benefits and social impact, and selects Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners. This is the eighth time that Fujifilm’s product has been awarded for one of the top awards in the IDEA.
Fujifilm will continue to work on creating designs that not only have beautiful appearance but also realize designs that highlight the function of each product and service, thereby creating new product values.
