Kleve, Germany, October 2023 FUJIFILM will be exhibiting at the Milipol homeland security and safety show held in ParisNord Villepinte from November 14 to 17, 2023 at booth 4F055. This will be the first European show to feature the newly introduced FUJINON SX1600 camera system for long-range surveillance applications.
The FUJINON SX1600 camera system introduced in April will celebrate its premiere at a European show in Paris. The SX1600 is a state-of-the-art long-range camera system featuring a 40x-zoom FUJINON lens that covers a focal length range from the wide-angle 40mm to 1600mm telephoto. It is equipped with a newly developed image stabilization system as well as fast and accurate autofocus to capture a distant subject clearly and instantaneously.
This allows capturing a registration plate on a car at about 1.6km away or even a person standing approx. 3.5km away – e.g. observing the Louvre museum queue from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Thanks to these specifications, the SX1600 can be used for a wide range of applications, including surveillance of international borders, forests, and large-scale public facilities such as airports, ports, highways and remote inspections of infrastructure facilities such as wind turbines and transmission cables.
The FUJINON SX1600 complements FUJIFILM’s exiting portfolio of long-range cameras SX800 and SX801.
Beyond the camera system itself, visitors can discover state-of-the-art pan-tilt systems and housings from FUJIFILM partners optimized for the FUJINON SX series.
Funkwerk will demonstrate their universal Platon NEO pan-tilt platform available with a second housing for combination with a thermal camera. Platon NEO can be integrated into PRESS RELEASE Page 2 of 3 different video management systems, including Funkwerk’s own palleon, making use of Platon NEO’s precise control and amazing speed.
Zippermast will showcase their innovative rugged camera system CORE LRSCS designed for the FUJINON SX series to make it usable in harsh environmental conditions and robust and mobile missions.
Visitors of the FUJIFILM booth will also experience the brand’s high-performance binocular range The bright, clear and stabilized image provided by these binoculars makes them perfectly suited for outdoor observations on the move.
With the SX1600 camera system and FUJINON binoculars, the FUJIFILM booth is a must-see for Milipol visitors looking for surveillance solutions over long distances.
