Fujifilm Belgium has always shown a very high degree of can-do mentality and Fujifilm family feeling. Ever since the start of the Belgian plant as early as 1968, the company and its people have faced many challenges. All of these were faced bravely and tackled with a positive attitude, thanks to the team spirit and the flexibility of our people.
We successfully entered in the photochemicals business in the ‘80ies, first as a supplier for Fujifilm and a few years later as an actual member of the group. Since then we have expanded our business with many different activities, such as inkjet large format printing, entering in the pressroom chemicals - and carving these out again when this was strategically the better option. We also integrated the Belgian/Luxembourg distributor for digital cameras and photoprinting and applied our imaging expertise in the production of high quality 3D reproductions of works of art, called RELIEVO. We marked the start of the Fujifilm Advanced Print Technology Centre for digital printing and successfully entered into the contract manufacturing business and produce chemicals for various fields of application serving different partners.
All of this took place in an industry and day & age which has known quite some changes, with digitalization being the most significant one for our business.
Nowadays Fujifilm is standing strong with a unique combination of photo paper, photo chemicals, equipment and a professional technical service to continue to serve the imaging industry and consumer market at its best.
Such a bold career track knows moments of success and set-backs. Overcoming these and keeping the spirit of NEVER STOP, can only be achieved thanks to the commitment and drive of our people. We are proud and very lucky to be working with this great team.
