Our approach to Sustainability
FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam believes that reputation and credibility are integral to business sustainability. Our relationships with customers, employees, the community and the environment are key to maintaining our reputation and credibility.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam's approach to sustainability focuses on creating value for these key stakeholders through the provision of products and services. Today, sustainability means more than just ‘green' and charity. It is about making measureable impact to the business environment and helps us to constantly innovate and improve our products and services to respond to an evolving set of stakeholders' expectations.
In the second edition of our Sustainability Report, we highlight our continued commitment to sustainability and transparency, demonstrating how our social and environmental responsibilities are integrated into our core business. We also measure our performance against the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) requirements, we demonstrated how our social and environmental responsibilities are integrated with our core business. Key initiatives, performance and outcomes are also shared in this report.
Sustainability
Amongst our set of core values lies the commitment and focus on global sustainability - a focus that manifests itself in the integration and support of our customers as well as placing our environment at the core of everything that we deliver.
We are unique in addressing sustainability at every step in the value chain. From parts procurement through an extensive supply chain, to our product design, manufacturing operations, to customer use and disposal of our products at end of life – We have proven our commitment to sustainability at every step in the value chain.
- Compliance Obligation: We will not only comply with all legal restrictions and regulations in the industry but also our internal rules and standards.
- Resource and energy saving efforts: Based on the result of environment aspect assessment, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam will promote effort to converse, reduce, recycle and reuse resource, in terms of both product and company operations.
- Promotion of Environmental Marketing: We will promote environmental activities by providing eco-conscious products and solutions to contribute in improving customers’ environmental awareness.
- Partners Collaboration: We will corporate with business partners to let them understand the policy and carry out business activities accordingly.
- Training and Education: We will educate our employees, raise awareness of environment and urge them to act in accordance with this policy.
- Management System Improvement: We will conduct audits and take other measures to further strengthen the management system.
“Sustainable development” is the most important issue for our planet, the human race, and all business entities in the 21st century. Through all products and services and businesses, we will strive our contributions to “sustainable development” by initiative to address climate change, promote resource circulation, ensure chemical safety, preservation for regional environment and biodiversity conservation.
FUJIFILM Group Green Policy
Based on FUJIFILM Group Green Policy, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam Company Limited as a document solution provider in Vietnam will strive for the excellence in our environmental performance and the prevention of global pollution that impacts to customer, employee and other people.
This policy shall apply to our entire operations of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam.

For supporting and complying with the regulations on extended producer responsibility and regulations on the transportation and treatment of waste and hazardous waste, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam Company Ltd. has collaborated with Vietnam Recycling Program to expand the number of collection and reception points for electronic devices, used consumables of the FUJIFILM / Fuji Xerox brand and change the process in accordance with the regulation. We herein would like to publish a list of our collection points and procedure to assist our customers and users in a proper collection and disposal of used electronic devices such as printers, photocopiers, consumables after used, as follows:

- Types of used devices and supplies accepted for recall: Consumables, spare parts, and equipment after used, need to be returned to the supplier.

- Accept to collect used consumable, spare parts, machine (Printer, Copier) with FUJIFILM or Fuji Xerox brand-name from any end-user, customer.
- Please transport your supplies and equipment to one of the above collection points by yourself. In case the weight is over 20 kg, please contact us in advance at Hotline no.1800 54 54 49 (free call charge) or email: vn.support.tg@fujifilm.com for appropriate arrangements.
- If the volume of used product is over 20 kg and you are a FBVN direct customer with a valid Full service & maintenance agreement, please contact our Hotline for instructions on the on-site collection process.
Communities
At FUJIFILM Business Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is synonymous with corporate management. CSR values are deeply rooted in the DNA of our culture. We have pursued the quest to improve the communities where we are operated through out the year

- Activities: Cleaned up the garden, communicated with children by organizing fun activities and contributed 160 packages of milk, cake, candy, instant noodles and school supplies to the center

- Activities: Contributed necessities goods such as milk, cake, candy, instant noodle... to the centre; Cleaned up the garden & surrounding area

- Activities: Donate necessities goods such as milk, cake, candy, instant noodle... to the centre; Clean up the garden & surrounding area; Plant trees and take care of the children

- Activities: Hand Over Ceremony for Nhon Hoi "B" Elementary school after 3 months of renovation; outdoor activities with the local students and deliver sponsor gifts from our business partners.

- Destination: Tra Vinh, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang, Can Gio
- NGO Partner: Saigon Children Charity
- Participants: Hochiminh Office Staff
- Activities: Delivery 100 bicycles to disadvantaged students in Tra Vinh province and other southern provinces including Tay Ninh, Tien Giang and Ho Chi Minh city

- Destination: Van Chan Dist, Yen Bai Province and Tay Giang Dist, Quang Nam Province

- Participants: Hanoi Office Staff and Danang Office Staff.
- Activities: deliver 5,000 pictures book to 2,000 children in Mountainous and Rural provinces in North and Middle Vietnam
Award
April 2017, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam has been awarded with the prestigious Golden Dragon Award for excellent business performance. The Golden Dragon Awards honors Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises that have made significant contributions to Vietnam’s economic development.
April 2017, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam is in Top 50 Famous Brand 2016 recognized by the Intellectual Property Department and Vietnam Union of Businesses.
