Since its presence in Vietnam in 1994, FUJIFILM Business Innovation has been contributing to the development of an increasing demand towards channels and forms of information distribution in Vietnam. Over the past 20 years as the country grow and significantly transform into one of the fastest-growing economies in the world so does the growth and transformation of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam.

At FUJIFILM Business Innovation, our commitment to approaching and solving social issues has always been a key focus in our business operations towards creating a better life for a better future. Our corporate social responsibility journey has led us to many different roads across the most remote areas of Vietnam and helped us bring about the changes in the lives of many underprivileged children here. In fiscal 2016, the Learning Material project “For the Children of Tomorrow” that we launched in partnership with Save the Children helped us approach 2,500 children and provide them with access to 5,500 children books which were printed by using our multifunction devices and technologies. With the project being implemented for 3 years, the journey has just begun for us to reach out to more disadvantaged children with the hope that we can close more educational gaps in Vietnam.

Contributing to the environmental conservation is also one of our key sustainability focuses. FUJIFILM Business Innovation has been a long-term supporter of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards for paper procurement, which helps to ensure that the forests around the world are responsibly managed. Starting 2017, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Vietnam sponsored the printing of World Wild Fund (WWF) communications materials onto FSC certified paper. WWF is the world's largest conservation organization with over five million supporters worldwide, working in more than 100 countries, supporting around 1,300 conservation and environmental projects. This sponsorship has contributed to WWF’s commitment of ensuring that its operation, and specifically its paper use, minimizes polluting impacts on climate and water, while delivering communications outputs that are necessary for conservation wins.

We hope that you enjoy reading our sustainability highlights. We look forward to sharing with you more on our sustainability journey as we continue working together with different stakeholders to bring about positive changes we wish to see in the local community where we operate.
