Hideaki Kato
President
Mr. Hideaki Kato is currently the president of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Philippines Corp. based in the company’s head office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines.
His entire professional career has been with FUJIFILM Business Innovation. Immediately after earning his Bachelor’s degree major in Political Science and Economics at the Meiji University in Japan 37 years ago, Hideaki joined FUJIFILM Business Innovation as a Sales Representative of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Japan based in Tokyo. Throughout his remarkable career, he has had the privilege of being exposed to the various facets of the company’s regional operation, from sales to business planning, finance, and general management. Aside from the various roles he held in FUJIFILM Business Innovation Japan, in 2002, he has been assigned to FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific (FBAP) as the Marketing Planning Manager based in Shanghai, China. In 2006, he was the General Manager for Market Planning in the FBAP office in Singapore. He then moved back to Shanghai as the Market Planning Director for FUJIFILM Business Innovation China. After 2 years, Hideaki moved to FUJIFILM Business Innovation head office in Japan to be the Business Planning Manager. Immediately prior to joining FUJIFILM Business Innovation Philippines, he was appointed as the very first General Manager of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific - Myanmar branch which he held for 5 years. And in 2018, Mr. Kato was appointed as the 15th president of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Philippines Corp.
