Overview

What is Serverless Authentication?

Serverless Authentication is a paid application that can be installed on multifunction devices, allowing you to share the user information for authentication with multiple devices so that you can register a smart card or authenticate using whichever linked device under the server-less environment.
(To install the application, the customer engineer is required.)

Features

Features of Serverless Authentication

By using the smart card registration function to register the association between the user authentication information registered in the multifunction device and the ID information on the smart card, the information is shared from the multifunction device set as the parent device to all linked multifunction devices. Once the information is shared, it can be used by any linked multifunction device through authentication operations. There is no need to set up a dedicated server to link multifunction devices, which reduces costs.

Integration with Active Directory Server

It is also possible to be linked with the user information saved on an Active Directory server.

  • Note: An optional Severless Authentication Kit is required on each shared multifunction device.
