Contact UsWith a corporate philosophy of “achieving a rich and healthy life through sports,” K Corporation is a sports apparel company that handles everything from the planning and manufacturing of various sports goods to logistics, store operations, and sales. Starting out as a manufacturer, they expanded into directly managed stores, and in recent years, have ventured into e-commerce, steadily expanding their business scope.
As the brands they handle and the scale of their business expanded, the number of employees at K Corporation increased, making their office space feel cramped. they felt that, in order to work efficiently, they had to be more mindful of organization and tidiness.
In addition, K Corporation needed to improve work efficiency and enhance work styles in preparation for relocating their headquarters and realizing a new way of working. This included considering methods for digitizing and consolidating paper documents. This led to the launch of PROJECT ZERO to promote paperless operations.
As a result of understanding the current situation within the project, they found that much information was managed individually, making it necessary to establish document management rules that are not dependent on individuals.
“While incorporating on-site requests, we have developed our own core system by building various subsystems, including groupware, using individual packages and scratch development. However, because of this, many people said that the system had become specialized with unique logic, making it prone to dependency on specific individuals and difficult to use in terms of operability.”

FUJIFILM Business Innovation has focused on building a common information-sharing platform that is easy for users to use, in order to embody the customer slogan “anytime, anywhere, with anyone.”
They then decided to adopt the highly secure and easy-to-use Box as their platform, and to create an office environment that could seamlessly integrate with the cloud environment there.
In response to new client requests about items such as maintaining security strength, ensuring user operability, and controlling access privileges for Box users, they implemented a system that integrates MFPs with Box and clarified rules for managing electronic and paper documents.
“Thanks to the proposal from FUJIFILM Business Innovation, it is now possible to print data saved in Box directly using an MFP and upload digitized data directly to Box. Additionally, by utilizing ‘Private Charge Print’, we can print from any MFP within our network environment, eliminating the need to perform tasks through a computer each time.”

By linking PCs, MFPs, and the cloud, they have achieved seamless information sharing and realized a free-address office that is not restricted by locations such as offices or floors. The introduction of telework was also smooth, as the environment was ready for work from anywhere.
Furthermore, by establishing the information platform and developing document management rules, document retrieval requires less time than before. As a result, the move towards paperless operation quickly spread throughout the company, achieving a 70% reduction in the total paper inventory at the Tokyo branch. This led to fewer paper output tasks and improved operational efficiency.
After getting this project off the ground, they will implement it across all locations and move the core system to the cloud. FUJIFILM Business Innovation will continue to make proposals and provide support in line with customer needs to further transform the way they work.
