Thank you very much for your continued use of our products.

Microsoft Corp. announced, "To help keep Outlook personal email accounts secure, starting September 16, 2024, Microsoft will no longer support Basic Auth, the method in which a person provides only their username and password to sign into their account."

As response to the above statement, be kindly informed of the impact on our products and workaround as follows.

Impact on our Products

If Outlook personal email account (e.g., outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com) and password are set as the email server settings (SMTP/POP3/IMAP) on our product, customer will not be able to use data sending/receiving function^*such as Email and Internet fax.

However, this issue does not affect customers using Exchange Online.

• * Scan (Email), Internet Fax send, Email Notification Service, Email forwarding of received paperless fax, Print Email, Internet Fax print, and other functions that send or receive email.

• MFPs, printers, production printers
• Software Products
• Print Servers
• Software and Services Products(Production Software)

Workaround

For customers who have set up Outlook personal email accounts and passwords for our products and are using a mail server (SMTP/POP3/IMAP) to send and receive mail, there is no workaround by changing settings.

Please consider switching to other email services.
