The UK Modern Slavery Act of 2015 requires companies carrying on business in the U.K. to publish a statement describing steps taken to ensure modern forms of slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in the company’s business operations and supply chains.
The Canada Forced Labour Act requires companies doing business in Canada to publish a statement describing steps taken to prevent and reduce the risk that forced labour or child labour is used by them or in their supply chains.
